米沢興譲館高校国際探究科のみなさんと「べにばなかるた」の読み札を英語訳にする学習をしました。高校生の様々な想像力、発想力が溢れた英語訳になっています。世界とつながる「べにばなかるた」になりました。「べにばなかるた」英語版をご紹介します。
Students in Yonezawa Kojokan High School’s Global Course studied how to translate Benibana (safflower) “karuta” (traditional Japanese cards) into English. The “karuta” translations they created are overflowing with imagination and creativity and make Benibana “karuta” a more globally-connected card deck. Please find below the English versions of our Benibana “karuta.”
